979 individual unknown grave markers set in earth & labelled w/ incised number, 6"x6"x4"H. Located in 3 areas of Pie-shaped cemetery, Sections 1, 14, & 22. Each marker designates body of unknown soldier, laid out in curvilinear desgin.
